Safed Chandan Stick – Pure and Original Chandan for Pooja

Safed Chandan/White Sandalwood has been a traditional pooja samagri since ancient times and rituals like applying fresh Chandan paste on idols, along with itra and Ganga jal are most commonly practiced by Hindus. Chandan is used for applying tilaks on the foreheads of devotees as well as on idols. This is the most popular Chandan for all pooja rituals except the pooja of Maa Kali, Rudra avatar of Shiva in various temples of India, and Durga’s forms where rakta Chandan is used. White is the colour of peace and it’s known for having a calming effect.
